Dino V2 - Dual Motor ESC

The Dino V2 is the new version of the renowned controller Dino. It is a two-motor controller optimized for use with radio control and its receivers. This board is suitable for small and mini (antweight) robots, mini remote control cars and other models.

With this electronics it is possible to control two brushed DC motors, each up to 1.1A continuous. The peak current is 2.8A for a few seconds. This board has thermal protection, which means that you won't have to worry about burning due to accidental stalls .

It has a 5V BEC, so it can power a microcontroller or the radio control receiver itself via signal cables. It also has an LED to indicate the status of the channels.

Dino now has reverse polarity protection , making it even more robust! In its new version it allows three modes of use:

• Mixed Mode: one of the channels controls the movement of the robot, while the other controls the curves (this mode goes by default on the board, just leave the pads on the back of the board without soldering).
• Tank mode: each channel controls one of the motors, independently (to activate this mode, solder the TANK and CENTRAL pins on the back of the board).
• Mirror mode: the two outputs respond to a single channel, perfect for controlling two motors with just one of the radio sticks (to activate this mode, solder the MIRROR and CENTRAL pins on the back of the board.)

The board also has new voltage regulators and filters to ensure full and stable operation. Its use is very simple. As it is already programmed, just make the connection according to the image below.



Basic connection example
The card has an LED for status indication:

• Constant on: channels A and B with signal
• Blinking once: channel A with no signal
• Blinking twice: channel B with no signal
• Blinking three times: channels A and B with no signal
